TITLE:                                   Field Marketing and Events Manager
LOCATION:                          Kansas City Metro Area
SALARY EXPECTATION:   $55,000-65,000 (based on experience) plus a bonus target

Position Summary: 
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Field Marketing and Events Manager to support eight bakery managers at a growing franchisee in an exciting, joy-filled brand.  The Marketing Manager will be responsible for sourcing and executing off-premise sales opportunities, overseeing the planning and execution of local marketing initiatives and events to enhance brand visibility, increase customer traffic, and foster strong community relationships. This role requires an engaging, creative, organized, and results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to help grow a fantastic brand and business. The Field Marketing and Events Manager will report directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Plan and coordinate local events, community outreach programs, and partnerships to enhance brand presence.
  • Collaborate with bakery managers to train off-premise events teams, ensuring they can successfully execute events without your direct on-site presence when we have multiple simultaneous events booked.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, schools, and organizations to drive referral partnerships and corporate sales.
  • Develop and implement local marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and drive visits to our bakeries.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and marketing performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize results.
  • Create promotional materials, including flyers, social media content, and in-store signage.
  • Collaborate with NBC’s corporate marketing team to ensure alignment with brand standards and campaigns.
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective execution.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and local market dynamics to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Experience with and passion for event planning, community outreach, and customer service
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales and marketing data to drive decision-making. Experience using CRM tools is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to dynamic environments.
  • Highly collaborative and supportive of helping stores reach their full potential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel between bakery locations and/or event locations. 
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings, as required. Many off-premise sales opportunities involve weekend or evening events. We will work together to create a manageable schedule.

Flexible work from home options available.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
