TITLE: Assistant Bakery Manager – East Cleveland Territory
REPORTS TO: Bakery Manager / District Manager

Position Summary

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Assistant Bakery Manager – East Cleveland Territory is a multi-bakery leadership position supporting the Mentor, Mayfield Heights, and South Euclid bakeries. This role partners with Bakery Managers and District Leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience, develop team members, maintain brand standards, and support sales, labor, and operational goals.

The Assistant Bakery Manager must be comfortable traveling between all three locations based on staffing, business volume, training needs, leadership coverage, and operational priorities. This individual serves as a flexible leadership resource and is expected to step into various bakery roles as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and operational support across Mentor, Mayfield Heights, and South Euclid.

  • Travel between assigned bakeries based on business needs and provide leadership coverage during staffing shortages, manager absences, call-offs, high-volume periods, and special events.

  • Partner with Bakery Managers to create a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.

  • Coach, train, motivate, and provide feedback to team members while holding them accountable to company expectations.

  • Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and development of team members.

  • Prioritize the guest experience and model exceptional guest service.

  • Ensure team members consistently execute NbC service, product, cleanliness, merchandising, and brand standards.

  • Support cake production, frosting, decorating, order fulfillment, merchandising, stocking, cleaning, opening, and closing procedures.

  • Maintain hands-on knowledge of all bakery positions and step into any role as business needs dictate.

  • Support individual, corporate, large, and special orders to ensure accuracy and timely completion.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, allergen, labeling, dating, and company standards.

  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, attendance, payroll review, and labor management to support established goals.

  • Support inventory management, ordering, waste control, transfers, and expense management.

  • Monitor sales, labor, productivity, waste, and other key performance indicators and communicate opportunities to leadership.

  • Support local marketing, fundraisers, community events, seasonal launches, and other brand-building initiatives.

  • Assist with new initiatives, special projects, and operational needs across the territory.

  • Communicate effectively with Bakery Managers, District Leadership, and team members across all assigned locations.

Compensation: $42,000.00 per year




Employees at a franchised Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery location are employed by the franchise owner/operator and are not employees of Nothing Bundt Cakes Corporate (the franchisor).
