At Nothing Bundt Cakes, our Shift Leads help create an exceptional guest experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of the bakery. This role works closely with the leadership team to lead by example, support team members, and ensure every shift runs smoothly. If you enjoy developing others, delivering great service, and being part of a positive team culture, we'd love to meet you!
What You'll Do
- Lead and support bakery team members during shifts
- Deliver an outstanding experience for every guest
- Assist with cake production, order fulfillment, and inventory management
- Help train, coach, and develop team members
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and brand standards are maintained
- Support opening and closing procedures, including cash handling
- Step into any bakery role as needed to support the team
- Communicate effectively and help create a positive work environment
What We're Looking For
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Previous retail, restaurant, bakery, or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and passion for teamwork
- Dependability, organization, and attention to detail
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
- We're currently seeking someone available 2-4 days per week, with opportunities for additional hours and future growth as business needs evolve
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
