About the Role:
Nothing Bundt Cakes #1008 in Dothan, AL is looking for enthusiastic and friendly Event Staff to join our sweet team! This is a part-time position offering 25-30 hours per week, perfect for someone who loves creating memorable experiences and connecting with customers. If you have a passion for hospitality and a love for all things delicious, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing in-store events and special celebrations
- Greet and engage customers with a warm, welcoming attitude to ensure an exceptional guest experience
- Support cake decorating, packaging, and presentation for events and large orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment
- Process customer orders and transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, and inventory management
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales goals and customer satisfaction standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, food service, or event coordination preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Positive, energetic demeanor with a passion for creating great customer experiences
