At Nothing Bundt Cakes, the Shift Lead plays an important role in creating a positive, productive, and joyful bakery environment. This position helps lead the team during daily operations, supports the Bakery Manager, and ensures every guest receives an exceptional experience.
We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, leads by example, takes ownership, and knows how to motivate a team while keeping operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
As a Shift Lead, you will:
- Lead and support team members during assigned shifts
- Help ensure the bakery is prepared to deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Provide coaching, direction, and support to Joy Creators and bakery team members
- Assist with opening and closing responsibilities
- Help manage daily bakery operations, including cleanliness, organization, and product availability
- Ensure team members are following company policies, procedures, food safety, and brand standards
- Support guest recovery and resolve guest concerns professionally
- Help monitor staffing and labor throughout the shift
- Communicate important information and operational needs to the Bakery Manager
- Lead by example through a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed
- Help create a fun, supportive, and team-focused environment

- Previous leadership, food service, retail, or hospitality experience is preferred
