Daytime Guest Services Representative
This position requires weekday morning availability starting at approximately 8:30 AM. Applicants must be available during these hours to be considered. This schedule will continue after the school year begins.
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week
Schedule: Primarily weekday mornings beginning around 8:30 AM, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Position Summary:
The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Guest Service Representative creates a warm, welcoming environment for our guests, offers creative solutions for celebrations, and helps deliver an exceptional bakery experience. As the first point of contact, this role plays an important part in creating memorable guest experiences while supporting daily bakery operations.
We're looking for a dependable, self-motivated team member with a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and the flexibility to work weekday mornings, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
Work Availability:
- Must be available to work weekday mornings beginning around 8:30 AM
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
- Must have reliable transportation
- Bakery hours are Monday–Saturday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM and Sunday 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Accountabilities/Duties:
- Promptly greets walk-in and phone guests with warmth and enthusiasm to determine needs and follows NbC Sweet Steps of Service
- Maintains strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cake distinction, size and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions, and complimentary retail merchandise
- Processes orders accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system; invites guests to join the Bundtastic Rewards program
- Maintains a clean, organized bakery presentation, including light cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces
- Replenishes retail merchandise and cake display cases to maintain strong visual presentation
- Assists with preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed
- Support daily opening and closing procedures as assigned
- Complies with all health and safety guidelines, NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and hygiene standards.
- Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly, helpful, and guest-focused with a positive attitude
- Enjoys interacting with diverse people and creating exceptional guest experiences
- Able to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Takes initiative and works independently
- Comfortable using technology and a point-of-sale system
- Basic math skills, including handling cash and making change
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
Experience:
- Previous guest service experience in retail, restaurant, or bakery settings is a plus
Compensation: $13.00 per hour.
