About the Role:
Join the vibrant team at Nothing Bundt Cakes #37 in Corte Madera, CA, as a Bakery Operator/Manager! This exciting position offers the opportunity to lead a passionate team while creating delicious, high-quality cakes that bring joy to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily bakery operations to ensure product quality and efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Implement health and safety standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist in the preparation and decoration of cakes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Monitor sales performance and contribute to marketing strategies to drive business growth.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere that fosters teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in bakery management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for team development and customer service.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and cake decoration is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic financial acumen and experience with inventory management.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid food handler's permit.
