The decorator at Nothing Bundt Cakes (NBC) ensures that the cakes are consistently decorated with the best quality for our guests and contributes to superior service by meeting production demands. Follow NBC's food safety methods and standards for our delicious cake offered in various sizes and flavors. The decorator embodies the values and demonstrates commitment to excellence and efficiency in the workplace.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Follow NBC's methods accurately and achieve production goals.
  • Use efficient measuring instruments, mixers and other tools to decorate cakes.
  • Follow instructions for packing, labeling, and storing decorated cakes. Also maintain food rotation standards, and refrigeration reports.
  • Observe the inventory of cakes and complete orders in time.
  • Clean, disinfect, and refill the workstation and ensures that all decorating tools are efficiently clean and ready for the next shift.
  • Complies with all NBC safety guidelines, policies and procedures, including strict dress codes and personal hygiene.
  • Maintain constant work attendance and punctuality. Arrive every shift ready to work.
 
Knowledge and Skills:
  • He is able to understand written and oral instructions, interpret instructional documents such as recipes, operational processes and health and safety rules, as well as apply knowledge to carry out work responsibilities.
  • Understand basic units of measurement used in the U.S.
  • Have the ability to perform physical and repeated tasks that require the strength to lift heavy things (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods.
  • Be able to operate commercial grade bakery equipment and work alongside high and/or low temperature sources.
  • He is meticulous about using exact measurements, paying strict attention to time and working in a fast production rhythm and tight schedule.
  • You can evaluate product, process, information, and surroundings to determine that standards are being met.
  • Possesses the discipline and attention to detail to strictly meet health, safety, and work environment standards. .
  • He is diligent, organized, and motivated, with the ability to work individually with little supervision.
 
Education, Certification and Work Experience Required:
  • Preference someone with experience in the kitchen.
 
Availability Required:  
You must have flexibility to work several different shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Based on the demand for what is needed.
Compensation: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
